Inclusion in Synagogues
Inclusion is about creating a culture that allows us all to be a part of a service, class or social event in a way that is comfortable and welcoming to all.
Proud of Our Differences
I've never looked at my brother as being "different," only as my big brother. But as I've grown older, I've had the chance to see him through the lens of my friends and colleagues who had never met someone with special needs before.
Building Blocks of Inclusion
All preschoolers benefit from inclusive classrooms by encouraging empathy, improved social skills and acceptance of differences. These are big lessons for our youngest students with impacts to last a lifetime.
Mazels on 10 Years at Keshet
Meet Katie Lightner, known around Camp Chi as "Katie Keshet," the person who ensures everyone is included at overnight camp.
Inclusion is My Passion
Keshet has been a part of my life since I was in sixth grade and now I am a senior in high school. It all started as my Bat Mitzvah project, but it has turned out to be something so much more.
