Celebrating 40 Years of Keshet Champions

At Keshet, champions do whatever it takes to surpass goals. They dream big to create a community of belonging. They make their voices heard and amplify the voices of others.

This year, we’re celebrating all of our champions—the participants, supporters, families, advocates, friends, staff and partners—who have shaped Keshet for the past 40 years and who propel Keshet to be a louder, bolder, unstoppable influence in our community. The event will feature special musical guests, including Broadway’s Hamilton, Miguel Cervantes and the Keshet Choir. We will also celebrate Sharon Frankel’s decades of dedication to Keshet.

Sharon Frankel, Lifetime Champion Award

From Keshet’s earliest days in the 1980’s to the present, Sharon Frankel has been a vital member of our community as a parent, board member, staff­ member, volunteer, archivist, and Director of Special Events. One of Keshet’s flagship programs, the Ariella Joy Frankel Keshet Day School, is named in memory of her beautiful daughter.

Sharon and her family have been instrumental in Keshet’s incredible growth over the past 40 years, and it is our honor to award her dedication, tenacity and commitment to this work.
