MY Life is Keshet’s residential program. It is designed to support adults to be fully active members of the community in a warm and caring home that promotes independence and full lives.
Keshet currently supports and staffs four MY Life homes, including one multi-unit apartment building and three single family homes.
MY Life homes are licensed Community Integrated Living Arrangements (CILAs) with full-time staff providing individualized assistance with daily living skills and community engagement. Staff are part of the family, knowing each individual’s needs, goals and interests.
Keshet’s person-centered approach allows residents to be in control of their lives. Our residents are empowered to make informed choices for themselves, set their own goals and be self-advocates. At the same, families are encouraged to be actively involved in residents’ lives and planning for the future.
MY Life homes are located in welcoming communities where residents can access shopping, transportation, restaurants, local events and recreation. During the day, residents are actively living their lives in the community through employment, volunteer positions and adult day programs.
When Keshet provides residential services, we plan on being by our residents’ sides for their lives. This is why MY Life is intentionally a small program. We are not taking inquiries for future residents at this time.
