Recreation Program Aide

The Part-Time Program Aide, under general supervision, supports program facilitators in meeting the physical and instructional needs of participants with disabilities in a recreational setting. This role involves assisting with the implementation of instructional programs that promote self-help skills, behavior management, and participant engagement, while fostering an inclusive and supportive environment. The position requires 15–18 hours per week, with work scheduled during the week and on weekends. Two positions are available—one focusing on youth programs and one on adult programs.

LOCATION: On-site at one of our locations in Highland Park or Northbrook.

SUPERVISOR: Recreation Program Manager

WAGES: Starting $18.00 per hour for undergraduate student / Starting $20.00 per hour for graduate student

JOB STATUS: Part-Time/Hourly

SCHEDULE:  Monday – Thursday, 3:00 pm – 6:15 pm, Sunday 9:30 am – 2:30 pm
