A home away from home

A place to be yourself

Every camper deserves to enjoy camp in a way that works for them. With different camp experiences, support levels and accessibility features, Keshet helps each participant find the right fit. Campers can explore their interests, build friendships and be themselves in a community where they are supported and valued.

Summer of growth

Overnight camp offers opportunities to try new things, practice everyday skills and discover new interests. Whether campers are building independence through new experiences or developing practical life and job skills through vocational opportunities, each summer brings chances to grow in ways that last beyond camp.

Experience you can trust

Keshet brings together decades of experience in overnight camp programming and disability support. Our team of experienced professionals understands the unique considerations of creating a successful camp experience for teens and young adults with disabilities. By getting to know each camper and understanding their individual needs, we help ensure they have the support, accommodations and opportunities to make the most of their summer.

Gesher

Gesher

Gesher is designed for teens and young adults ages 13–21 who are looking for a summer filled with fun, adventure and personal growth. With four unique sessions at camps across the Midwest, Gesher offers a range of experiences, support levels and opportunities to meet participants’ individual needs while giving families time to recharge. Each session combines structured activities, free time and opportunities to explore new interests, build friendships and develop independence. Whenever possible, participants also take part in activities alongside other campers, creating opportunities for inclusion, connection and a sense of community.

Support ratio of 1:1-1:3.

Avodah

Avodah

Work hard, play hard at Keshet Avodah! Avodah is a vocational skill-building program at Camp Chi for 16–21-year-olds who are ready, or nearly ready, for independent work. Through job rotations and assigned placements throughout camp, participants build practical life and job skills while contributing to the camp community. Tasks may include sorting camp mail, doing laundry, cleaning the dining hall and other camp spaces, organizing lost and found and more.

Sometimes, they’ll also venture offsite to volunteer with local organizations like Habitat for Humanity and the Humane Society, gaining experience while giving back to their community. And of course, there’s still plenty of time for fun! Participants enjoy traditional camp activities and opportunities for inclusion alongside other campers and staff, making connections and enjoying everything summer has to offer.

Support ratio 1:3.
