For over 30 years, Keshet has partnered with JCC Apachi Day Camps to make inclusive camp experiences possible. Campers with disabilities enjoy everything camp has to offer alongside their peers, from daily activities to friendships that grow all summer long. With individualized support and a team of experienced professionals behind the scenes, we help create a camp experience where every camper can participate, connect and have fun.

From inclusion to belonging

At Keshet, inclusion is a mindset, not an end goal. Keshet works alongside Apachi to help campers with disabilities participate in the full camp experience to the greatest extent possible. When every camper has the opportunity to participate, connect and be part of the experience, inclusion leads to genuine belonging.

The right level of support

Every camper has different strengths, interests and support needs. Keshet counselors provide individualized accommodations, behavioral support and one-on-one assistance when needed, helping campers feel comfortable, participate in activities and make the most of their summer.

Experienced leadership

Inclusion takes experience, collaboration and thoughtful planning. Keshet’s team of social workers, special education teachers, therapists and recreation professionals brings expertise in disability support and inclusive programming. Working together with camp staff and families, we help create an environment where campers feel supported and can enjoy a successful summer.

Fee assistance

Fee assistance

Need-based fee assistance is available for camp for those who qualify. Awards are made on a rolling basis until funds have been fully distributed. It is important to register for camp early to ensure funding is available for your family.
