Keshet’s Board of Directors is a dedicated team of community leaders committed to advancing our mission to create a community of belonging for people of all abilities. As we look towards another exciting year ahead, we are thrilled to introduce two board members to the team. Their expertise and diverse perspectives are key in ensuring Keshet will continue to grow now and in the future.
Please join us as we welcome (and welcome back) our newest members:
Steven Insoft has spent 30 years as an investor, developer and operator of senior housing and long-term care properties. He most recently served as the Chief Corporate Development Officer of Omega Healthcare Investors, Inc. Originally from Boston, Steven moved to Chicago with his wife Susan and their three children, including Jason, who is a participant in Keshet’s GADOL and MY Life programs. Serving as the Vice Chair on the Keshet Board is part of his desire to give back to an organization that strives to improve the quality of life of those with disabilities while providing a sense of community and inclusion.
Scott Taxman graduated with his bachelor’s from Emory University and his Doctor of Medicine from The Chicago Medical School. He spent 32 years as a pediatrician in the Chicagoland area before recently retiring. Scott lives in Deerfield, IL with his wife, Amy, and their Labrador retriever, Winnie. As someone who spent a career caring for children, he finds the Keshet mission very meaningful and looks forward to being involved.
