Since 2002, GADOL, Keshet’s Adult Day Program, has operated with one purpose—to ensure that adults with disabilities live meaningful lives. Caring and dedicated staff work hand-in-hand with participants to design opportunities that engage, inspire and create connections. GADOL is ever-evolving and adding new activities in response to the interests of those in the program.
Learning doesn’t stop once you’ve completed school. Through GADOL, adults are encouraged to continue to grow their interests, skills, friendships and experiences. Through group and individual journeys, participants gain a broader understanding of the world and continually improve their quality of life.
GADOL emphasizes both the importance of building a community within the program and having strong connections with the larger community. Approximately 75% of GADOL’s social, recreation and work skills activities take place outside of our sites. Participants spend at least 700 hours each year volunteering to help others in need.
All adults deserve the choice to determine what their day looks like, who they spend it with and where they go. GADOL makes this happen by involving participants in the planning and leading of activities. Participants are empowered to decide what they want to do, explore and try.
GADOL is an approved day program by the Illinois Department of Human Services. We currently have a wait list for adult day services, but we encourage you to get involved in Keshet’s Adult Recreation and Social Activities.

Contact MichelleAdults with disabilities are proven to be committed and enthusiastic employees. They just need the opportunity to show their abilities and hone their skills. Keshet is seeking community organizations and businesses with jobs, job training opportunities or purposeful projects.
If you have on-going work that can be fulfilled by GADOL participants, please contact Garrett Reynolds, Director of Adult Day Services.
