Keshet’s staff make a world of difference in people’s lives every day. They are guided by our core values: positivity, patience, integrity, teamwork, communication and respect. To demonstrate how our staff are bringing these values to life, we award six staff each year with a Keshet Staff Value Award.

We’re thrilled to announce the 2025 recipients:
Harmony Groth, Business Office | Positivity
Some people simply radiate positivity, and this year’s Value Award winner is a perfect example. She approaches every situation with optimism, ensuring that those around her feel encouraged and supported. Whether she’s onboarding new staff, collaborating with teammates, or stepping up in unexpected ways, her energy is unwaveringly uplifting.
Her commitment to positivity goes beyond words—it’s reflected in her actions. She takes full responsibility for the atmosphere she creates, making sure that every interaction leaves a lasting impact.
While she is being recognized for positivity, teamwork was a close second—because she truly embodies both. As someone who interacts with every employee through training, she plays a key role in fostering a welcoming and inclusive culture at Keshet.
Danny “Bernie” Bernstein, Education | Communication
Effective communication is the foundation of a strong team, and this year’s Value Award winner exemplifies what it means to be a true team player. No matter the challenge, he is someone his colleagues can count on—always stepping in where needed and putting the needs of the students and the program ahead of his own.
Splitting time between sites, he demonstrates incredible flexibility and dedication, ensuring that every student receives the support they need. His willingness to adapt and his commitment to doing what is right—not just what is convenient—showcase his deep sense of responsibility and teamwork.
Through clear, thoughtful communication and an unwavering focus on collaboration, he helps create an environment where both staff and students can thrive. His actions reflect the core values of Keshet, and his impact is felt across every program he supports.
Latisha “Tish” Mason, GADOL | Teamwork
Teamwork isn’t just about working alongside others—it’s about being someone your team can count on, no matter the circumstances. This year’s Teamwork Value Award winner exemplifies that commitment every single day.
Even on tough days, she goes above and beyond to ensure that the job gets done with excellence. She approaches her work with integrity, always considering the impact of her actions on those around her. Through clear and open communication, she fosters strong relationships with both colleagues and the individuals we serve, creating a supportive and collaborative environment.
Her dedication, reliability, and positive attitude make her an invaluable part of the team. She is not only a hardworking professional but also someone who uplifts those around her with kindness and determination.
Bat-El Lieberman, Business Office | Respect
Respect is the foundation of every strong relationship, and this year’s Respect Value Award winner exemplifies what it means to honor and uplift those around her.
Although her primary goal is to make Jewish learning accessible and meaningful, she does so with deep respect for the diverse backgrounds of Keshet’s students and staff. She ensures that every person—regardless of their faith or experience—feels comfortable, included, and valued in the learning process. No question is ever too small, and she makes herself available as a resource to anyone who seeks guidance or understanding.
Since joining Keshet less than a year ago, she has completely transformed Judaic programming across all of our programs. Her creativity, determination, and unwavering respect for each individual have made a lasting impact, turning her lessons into highlights of the week for both students and staff. No challenge is too great—she always finds a way to make it work, ensuring that Jewish learning is engaging, relevant, and accessible to all.
Keshet is truly better because of her, and we are so fortunate to have her on our team.
Lauryn Smith, Business Office | Patience
Patience isn’t just about waiting—it’s about understanding, adapting, and supporting others through every step of the process. This year’s Patience Value Award winner embodies all of these qualities with grace and dedication.
With so many moving pieces in Keshet’s Rec and Camp programs, things don’t always come together on a perfect timeline. But no matter the challenge, she remains calm, thoughtful, and ready to help when the time is right. When overnight camp programs needed to be built from the ground up, she stood by our side, offering support without pressure, knowing that this year’s process was different.
At every Rec and Camp meeting, she brings patience and a steady presence, helping us talk through complex decisions to ensure the best outcomes. She understands the importance of timing when promoting our programs and never rushes the process—she waits until we’re ready and then steps in to help spread the word.
Her patience, kindness, and unwavering support make her an incredible teammate, and we are so grateful for all that she does.
Tanisha Wilson, MY Life | Integrity
Integrity is about doing what is right, even when no one is watching, and staying true to your values in every interaction. This year’s Integrity Value Award winner exemplifies this principle in everything she does.
While it’s hard to pinpoint just one moment that defines her impact, one thing is always clear—her genuine positivity is contagious. Whether she’s interacting with participants, staff, or parents and guardians, she consistently brings warmth, authenticity, and a deep sense of care to every conversation. She leads by example, treating everyone with kindness and respect, and fostering an environment where people feel valued and supported.
Her unwavering commitment to doing the right thing, no matter the situation, is what makes her such a standout member of our team.
