Unleash your inner creativity

Keshet’s art programs are the perfect avenue for people with disabilities to express themselves in new ways while boosting their self-esteem in the process. We explore all different kinds of art programs, giving participants an opportunity to try new things and discover new interests.

Arts programs are officially over for the 2025-26 school year, but be on the look out for new dates towards the end of the summer.

Let's get artsy

Encouraging self-expression in new ways

For those who have a difficult time communicating verbally, visual arts provides a safe space to express their thoughts and feelings. This can lead to reduced levels of stress and anxiety.

A sense of pride

Whether it’s finishing a project, tasting a new recipe or performing onstage, these accomplishments are a big deal! Keshet’s art programs help instill confidence, self-esteem and pride.

Something for everyone

Keshet’s art programs are not strictly drawing and painting. With classes in mixed media, music, drama, cooking and more, there is something for all ages, interests and abilities.

Volunteers needed

We are looking for volunteers (6th grade and older) to be part of Keshet’s Inclusive Choir. As a volunteer, you’ll be paired with a Keshet participant and sing alongside them during practices and performances. While there is no fee for being a volunteer, you do need to apply.
