Keshet brings together adults from all over our community for recreation and social gatherings. These programs are open to all adults who are 21+, with and without disabilities. Whether this is your first time at Keshet or your one hundredth, we hope you’ll join in on the fun.

Adult Arts Fall 2023

Tuesdays | Adult Art

We are excited to take art classes to the next level with our partnership with Open Studio Project. Professional art therapists will help participants develop skills in painting, drawing, collage, sculpture and more.

Wednesdays | Choir & Music

Keshet’s Inclusive Choir is starting in the fall this year so we can enhance our musical skills year-round. We are looking forward to preparing for multiple performances throughout the year, including Keshet’s annual event in March.

Thursdays | Cooking for Adults

Cooking is back by popular demand! Prep and make new and delicious step-by-step recipes each week.

Adult Sports Fall 2023

Wednesdays | Basketball

Participants will work on their dribbling, lay-ups, shooting skills and will get to play some scrimmage games.

Each week, players will be paired up with a 1:1 volunteer to practice skills and play a three-inning game of baseball.

Adults On the Town

Once each month, Keshet takes a typical Sunday and makes it even better with a special activity for adults of all abilities. These one-off programs are perfect for adults looking to make new friends or step outside their comfort zone with a new and fun activity.

Night Watch is a suspenseful mystery show filled with moments that will keep you on your toes. You definitely won’t want to miss it! Learn more about the show here.

Come out for an afternoon of friends and bocce ball. No prior experience is necessary!

Weekend Fall Getaway

Spend the weekend relaxing with old and new friends in Wisconsin. Enjoy being outdoors, games, art and Shabbat. Sunday includes special projects at the camp’s beautiful garden and lunch at Friendship Cafe before heading home. Price includes round-trip transportation, kosher food, lodging and all activities.

All of Keshet’s Adult Social & Recreation Programs are open to people of all abilities and adults throughout our community. We encourage people who have never attended a Keshet program before to join in on the fun. Most activities have a 3:1 or 4:1 participant to staff ratio.

Fee assistance

Need-based fee assistance is available for Keshet’s adult recreation programs. Families will indicate their interest in receiving assistance when they register online. Our team will then be in touch with you about next steps. Contact Anca at 847.205.1234 for more information.
