Team members in GADOL’s Healthy Living group created a simple and healthy treat: Patriotic Chocolate-Covered Strawberries. These festive berries are easy to make and perfect for your Independence Day celebrations. Follow the recipe below and add a touch of red, white and blue to your holiday weekend!
Recipe adapted from Princess Pinky Girl
Ingredients
- 1 pint fresh strawberries
- 1 package of white chocolate candy melts
- 1/2 blue sprinkles
Directions
- Wash and dry the strawberries.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate candies in 30 second intervals. Stir until smooth.
- Dip each strawberry halfway into the melted white chocolate.
- Before the chocolate fully dries, dip the tips into blue sprinkles.
- Place the strawberries on a parchment-lined tray and let them cool until the chocolate hardens.
