Empowering Campers to Connect

Writing letters home is a big part of overnight camp, but not all campers can easily draft a traditional letter. This summer, Keshet introduced visual letters with pictures, making it easier for everyone to share their overnight camp adventures. Keshet’s Cicada Survival Guide

It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for…17 years later, the cicadas are returning back to Chicago. For people with disabilities and/or sensory challenges, the reemergence of cicadas and their loud noises can cause anxiety. Keshet’s related-services and communications teams created social stories and worksheets to help everyone feel more prepared for the cicada arrival.
