Board & Volunteers

We’re thrilled to announce two new additions to Keshet’s Board of Directors. We look forward to the ways Steven and Scott will support Keshet’s growth in the coming year.

Melissa and Ross Berman, along with their son Charlie, have quickly become dedicated donors, volunteers and supporters of Keshet. They’ve seen Charlie grow in confidence and form meaningful connections through his weekly volunteering at Keshet Baseball, highlighting the profound impact of Keshet’s mission on participants and the community.

We’re incredibly proud to announce that two exceptional members of our community are being honored with awards from important organizations in Keshet’s field of work in May. This recognition not only highlights their individual excellence, but also amplifies Keshet’s reach and the credibility of our mission to the larger community.

Keshet not only provides great opportunities for people with disabilities, but it affords students like me the opportunity to give back, practice patience and create beautiful music together. I feel so fortunate that Keshet provided me this opportunity to work with the participants to teach them to sing with 16 Candles tonight.

Sami Abrams and Lexi Berkowitz, both 13 years old, spent the first half of their summers volunteering at Keshet Teen & Tween Camp. As volunteers, they got valuable experience working with campers with disabilities that were close to their age. At the same time, they built strong relationships, created new memories and gained a whole new perspective about supporting people of all abilities.

Almost fifty years after her first time going to overnight camp, Michelle is now experiencing what camps are like when they partner with Keshet. She’s finding more than just inclusion; it is true belonging.

Keshet is thrilled to announce three new volunteers who are bringing their skills and expertise to the Board of Directors.
